    Final countdown for 2020 Return of Earnings submissions

    The deadline for submissions of annual Return of Earnings declarations to the Compensation Commissioner has been extended to 31 May 2020.

    This return will confirm the final earnings paid to employees and directors for the period 1 March 2019 to 29 February 2020. It also requires that an estimate be provided for earnings which will be paid to employees and directors for the period 1 March 2020 to 28 February 2021.

  • EMP501 RECONCILIATION

    Final countdown for 2020 payroll submissions. SARS opened the annual employers tax season on 1 April 2020 and confirmed the closing date as 29 May 2020. This means, majority of employers will still be on lockdown for the duration of this years’ EMP501 reconciliation filing season, and with HR departments not running on full capacity, it may cause even bigger challenges.
